Vision
Sense Muse enhances the role of museums as learning hubs by creating upskilling pathways for cultural professionals. Through a structured learning network and transnational knowledge exchange, we equip museums with the competences to promote lifelong learning, making cultural institutions more accessible, inclusive and responsive.
Target groups
- Museum professionals at institutions with a peripheral character — directors, curators, docents and educators with limited access to funding or training.
- Cultural institutions preserving European patrimony at the margins — geographically, institutionally or in visibility.
- Accessibility experts and organisations working with vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities — the indirect beneficiaries of every program we co-design.
Why funding matters
Approximately 85 million people in the EU live with a disability. Yet structured accessibility programs in small museums remain rare — fragmented, locally bound, and rarely shared across borders. Sense Muse replaces isolated effort with a common European framework that is coherent, scalable and adaptable: a model museums across the EU can adopt.
